Pewter is a durable, high quality metal that is molded into an amazing variety of shapes. From beads to clasps, the classic look and amazing detail of pewter will add the perfect element of style to any jewelry design. Copper plating is applied to the pewter metal base in a thickness sufficient to allow for chemical antiquing and machine relief to give the plated parts its natural "antiqued" look. This great clasp has also been blackened (or oxidized) to help create its "antiqued" look. The two clasp pieces each measure 10mm, with a combined measurement of approximately 25mm. They are both in the shape of a heart with an attached ring and open space at the top. The open spaces allow the heart pieces to fit inside of each other to help ensure a secure hold.
