A: 2bead.com offers Free Shipping on all orders! US & Canada orders qualify for free shipping with no minimum and all other countries receive free shipping on orders is $50 or more. In addition to free shipping, we offer a variety of shipping methods using USPS and UPS. Final shipping costs (if applicable) will be displayed on the invoice you see before confirming your order.

Q: I am from a Country other than the US. Can I order?
A: International customers are welcome unless you are from Nigeria. Just shop 2 Bead or not 2 Bead as normal and click one of the International options on the shipping page.
Be sure to leave valid contact information including correct phone numbers and email address because for your protection we will verify your order. All prices are in U.S. Dollars. Please check if you are unsure of the exchange rate for your country.
Upon arrival to your country, fees may be assessed on your package that are not included in our shipping charge. Please contact your local mail service and/or customs office for more information. 2 Bead or not 2 Bead is required by law to disclose the full value of merchandise and is not responsible for any customs duties imposed by your country. In addition, we recommend that orders over $200 be shipped via USPS express mail, and all other orders be shipped via USPS Global Priority or USPS express mail for secure, speedy delivery. Orders shipped via USPS Global Priority Mail or USPS Airmail are subject to a 2 month waiting period for refunds upon non-delivery.

Q: I have a resale certificate. How can I get tax removed from my order if I live in NY.
A: To waive sales tax on purchases made in NY, State law requires us to have a resale certificate called Form ST-120 on file. You can download it from the home page of NYS Department of Taxation and Finance.

It is very easy to fill out! Then, fax the form to 1-888-384-0500. Please provide a daytime phone number so that we can complete your application. It will take 1 business day after we receive the fax to set up your tax exempt account.
Once you have been approved for a sales tax waiver you must be signed in when you order to receive the tax exemption. This exemption will automatically be reflected on your checkout pages.
*You must already possess a Certificate of Authority number from NYS prior to sending us your resale certificate.

Q: I am new to beading and need help with sizes. Do you have information on measurements?
A: Most beads are measured on the metric scale, in millimeters. To get an idea of what a millimeter looks like, here is a picture of a typical ruler with both metric and imperial (the system of measurements the United States uses) markings on it:

Common sizes for round beads are 4mm, 6mm, and 8mm. The measurement listed is the diameter of the bead. You can think of it as the length of the hole for round beads.
To figure out how many beads you will need to make something, first decide how long you want your piece to be, and what size beads you'll be using. Then consult this listing of how many beads per inch you will have for the size of beads you've chosen (the number given is approximate):

Take the number of beads per inch and multiply it by how long your piece will be. For example, if you wanted to make an 18" long necklace of 6mm beads, you would need approximately 90 beads.
